fine think it'd be lame but its not like i was just gonna throw it in to try and make my char look like a badass. It was gonna be part of the dementia he gets.
far as the sword goes. honestly you think a gun is gonna be more effective against a vampire?
swords can do alot more damage then guns. the reasons guns are used is cuz people arn't fast enough to dodge em and guns can be shot at a long range. vamps on the other hand are fast enough to dodge bullets. just a thought.
HIV? dude its a freaking story. I'm not planning on getting overly worked up about about making sure my char doesn't get freaking aids. now if he were to get aids that would be an interesting little plot twist but worrying about it is just being overly picky and i'm not gonna do that. thanks however for letting me know it doesn't do anything. still think it'd be cool but i wouldn't wanna brake the rules after all.
No, actually, that would be rather lame.
: Not to mention the stupidity of a) a hunter using a sword, b) licking the blood off (HIV anyone?), c) a hunter fighting a vampire without the Sight on, d) the bit where he'd be disemboweled while licking his sword, and e) the idea that a hunter could be ghouled.
: Check it out. The Storyteller's Companion (not the Handbook) says it straight out. Vampire blood does not affect Hunters in any way, shape, or form. So far as I'm concerned, that's called breaking the rules. There aren't all that many, after all.
