When Pandora opened the box and let out all the evils in the world, she slammed the box shut
before Hope could escape. For eons Hope sat in that box as the evils grew and seeded through the world.
Now once again the box has been opened, and Hope has been released. Now there will be a reckoning.
The Evils have had all this time to seep into our lives, our culture, our very way of existance. Hope is outnumbered, outclassed, and unprepared for the world it found. Yet it has the element of surprise, for the evils still belive it to be locked up, under the careful watch of Pandora. Hope is young compared to its enemy. But its youth is its strength. Able to learn quickly, perceiving the world for what it is, but always what it may be, will be one day, Hope has brought a new force to the chess board, a color different from black or white. |
